What is facilities management?

The term facilities management in relation to the Glasgow Secondary Schools Projects refers to the provision of cleaning services, janitorial, care taking and security services, grounds and building maintenance and the provision of a help desk. 3ED’s subcontractor Amey BPO Services provides these services. While 3ED provides and maintains the kitchens and associated equipment the Glasgow City Council provides the (Fuel Zone) catering services in all of the schools involved in the project.
